Cookies
This page explains what cookies are, which ones this studio site uses, and how to accept or reject them. Last updated 13 August 2026.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when a site asks the browser to remember a fact. Similar technologies include localStorage keys. Cloudqueuegrid uses a localStorage key for your consent choice and may use cookies for optional analytics if you accept.
Types we use
Essential. Required to remember whether you accepted or rejected the banner, and to keep the site usable (for example, serving pages and processing the enquiry form). These do not profile you for advertising.
Analytics (optional). Only if you press Accept. They help us see which journal notes and programme pages are read, in aggregate. Rejecting analytics does not block courses, reading, or the contact form.
Cookies and storage table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| cloudqueuegrid_cookie_consent | Stores Accept or Reject so the banner does not return every visit | Until you clear site data (localStorage) | Cloudqueuegrid (first party) |
| cqg_session | Short technical session aid if the host sets one for caching or security | Session (ends when the browser closes) | Cloudqueuegrid / hosting provider |
| _cqg_analytics | Aggregated page-view counts when analytics is accepted | 6 months | Cloudqueuegrid (first party) |
| fonts.gstatic.com / Google Fonts | Delivers Cormorant Garamond and Source Sans 3; may set technical cookies per Google’s policies | Per Google Fonts policy | Google (third party) |
How to manage or disable cookies
On first visit, choose Accept or Reject on the banner. Both choices are always visible. Your choice is saved under the brand-prefixed key cloudqueuegrid_cookie_consent.
To change your mind, clear cookies and site data for cloudqueuegrid.digital in your browser settings, then reload. The banner will appear again. You can also block cookies entirely in the browser; essential storage may then reset on each visit and the banner may return.
Browser guides differ: look for “cookies,” “site data,” or “local storage” under privacy settings in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge.
Third-party cookies
We load fonts from Google Fonts and images from public CDNs such as Unsplash. Those providers may set their own cookies or collect technical data under their privacy policies. We do not control those files. Embedded maps or payment widgets are not used on this site.
Impact of disabling
Rejecting analytics or blocking optional cookies does not remove access to syllabi, journal notes, or the enquiry form. If you block all storage, you may see the cookie banner on every page load. Font fallbacks still render if Google Fonts is blocked, though typography will look plainer.
Personal data connected to cookies is described in the Privacy notice.
